*Saturday, April 19, 8:30am - 2:00pm (or later) *
*"IS IT SPRING YET?"*

Join Gary Lefko, the "Nunn Guy", for an early spring migrant trip around
Nunn and beyond. We'll do the north central Weld County "water tour"
(includes Latham, Loloff and a host of others), and we could also venture
out to Pawnee National Grasslands (Crow Valley Campground, Bird Driving
Tour) to look for early birds. Meet at 8:30am at Honey's Cafe aka Nunn Cafe
(south side of Nunn) along Hwy 85. Come earlier for "fueling up"
(breakfast)! Bring a lunch and water.

*Saturday, April 26, 7:30 to 12:30*

*Wheat Ridge Greenbelt*

Join Paula Hansley for a half day outing to this great slice of riparian
habitat along Clear Creek. The area will be a hot bed of activity for
migrating land birds as well as water fowl and wetland obligate birds.
  Sightings
should include several warbler species, Sora and Virginia Rails, breeders
such as Northern Orioles, Lazuli Buntings; Paula has located some Bushtit
nests too! Meet at the northeast corner of the South Boulder Rec. Center
at 7:30. Bring water, a snack and be prepared to walk about 2 miles. Please
call Paula at 720 890 2628, to sign up for this outing.
