Highlights of this morning's Boulder Bird Club First Sunday trip to Walden and Sawhill Ponds included:
--All 3 Teal species (Cinnamon was at the far end of the first Sawhill Pond on the right as you walk through the gate from Walden) --An incessantly calling Virginia Rail (hidden in the reeds at the end of the first Sawhill Pond on the left as you walk through the gate from Walden) --FOS Avocet --A flock of 5 Turkey Vultures headed north --A pair of Cooper's Hawks flying over --Two Franklin's Gulls headed south --A flock of 8 Greater Yellowlegs which flew in as we reached the cars in the Cottonwood Parking lot at noon --and a group of 38 birders enjoying a fine spring morning -- Dick Pautsch, Boulder -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
