Today I found a Cattle Egret and 2 Greater Yellowlegs, both first of the year birds in this area, in flooded agricultural fields along River Road in Florence. The Cattle Egret foraged close to the road and I got a couple of close photos of it and photo of the yellowlegs that I have uploaded to my Birds and Nature blog <http://birdsandnature.blogspot.com/>. Several Cinnamon and Blue-winged Teal in their handsome spring plumage swam in the flooded fields which are several inches deep in some sections.
