Coming back from the western slope today, we stopped by the Beebe Draw
complex and were able to re-find Steve Mlodinow's lovely Whimbrel. In the
south field at that road 42 location, while counting Burrowing Owls, a
Long-Billed Curlew was a nice bonus. A great chance to study these 2
ridiculously long billed large shorebirds at once, even if they weren't
exactly side by side. The curlew was then chased to the south by a
Red-Tailed Hawk.
