Birding was near impossible with the strong wind gusts up to 63 mph and nasty dust storm today in Lamar. I was surprised to see a Broad-winged Hawk flying near a residential area this morning before I gave it up. I spotted it a little later as it flew in to perch. I got some very good photos of it that I have uploaded to my Birds and Nature blog.<http://birdsandnature.blogspot.com/>
