I rode my bike to McMurry Natural Area and saw a bright Blue-headed Vireo
at 6:30 pm foraging in a box elder. I observed it for 10 minutes gleaning
leaves about 10 feet west and south of the parking lot. Other birds
observed were Dusky Flycatcher, Orange-crowned Warbler, Yellow Warbler,
Lincoln’s Sparrow, Bullock’s Oriole. I have a poor picture of the BHVI if
anyone wan’t to check it out let me know.

Riding my bike through Lee Martinez Park I had about 120 Chipping Sparrows
and 20 Clay-colored Sparrows, 5 Lark Sparrow's, 1 Broad-winged Hawk, 1
Hermit Thrush.

At my house I had 5 Western Tanagers,4 males and 1 female, 1 Swainson’s
Thrush.
If your on bike beware of the goat’s head.
