I have found two probable hybrid Black X Eastern Phoebe (intermediate in
plumage between these species) that are feeding nestlings in the Canon City
area. Both are with a mate that looks more typical of an Eastern Phoebes.
I have some excellent photos of both pairs and their nest but have only got
photos of one of the prob hybrids and it's nest uploaded so far to my Birds
and Nature blog <http://birdsandnature.blogspot.com/>. These are high
quality close up photos from my dslr camera and very long telephoto outfit
showing they prob hybrid bringing what looks like some type of ant species
to feed the nestlings. I will be uploading more tomorrow.
