Sorry for this late information, though most these birds have been around for a while. Two adult Acorn Woodpeckers, plus I could hear young in the nest, continue in the big dead ponderosa pine tree, in the parking lot at Horseshoe Lodge, in Pueblo Mountain Park, above Beulah on Thursday (I know they were still present on Friday too).
One Grace's Warbler was present, just up from the old basketball/tennis court in Pueblo Mountain Park on Thursday, 10 July as well (one was well photographed near the Women's Bathroom, above this location on Friday). Other things in Pueblo Mountain Park on the 10th, were Red Crossbills, Dusky Flycatcher, a very long singing young male Blue Grosbeak, among other birds. On Hwy 78, above Beulah, in Custer County, on the way to Hwy 165, there were some Golden-crowned Kinglets, my first for this year, they seem to be hard to find, at least for me. If you like to see odes, the pond in Pueblo Mountain Park had a good number of species of dragonflies on Thursday and Friday, including Flame Skimmer.
