12 July 14 Colorado Springs Brian Bohannon I went to Pueblo Mtn Park today to see the Cordilleran Flycatchers and Acorn Woodpeckers. It was a great time and saw all of them plus Broad Tailed Hummingbirds, Stelallar's Jay, Western Bluebird, Violet-Green Swallow to name a few. Unfortunately, the Cordilleran's nest appeared to be destroyed and at least one of their babies was on the ground. The Jay was right there too--maybe it was his doing? The parents were trying to watch over it and still feeding it. Hated to see them in this situation.....
