On our monthly bird walk in Colorado Springs, our group of 12 birders saw a
male Blue Grosbeak. We had three photographers in the group, all of which got
good photographs.

The bird was first spotted in the open area east of the community gardens. It
then flew up into a tree near an old pond south of the path before flying off.

It was a 'lifer" for everyone in the group - high fives were shared!
