This morning there were signs of migration at Sloan's Lake

1 Orange-crowned Warbler -* first record for Sloan's Lake*
3 Wilson's Warbler - *first record for Sloan's Lake*
5 Yellow Warbler

30 Northern Shoveler flying high straight south over the lake - eBird
flagged as 'high count'

50 duck sp.not sure what these were as they were too far out in the main
pond... they could have been young shovelers.. there were a few smaller
ones in there too. If anyone wants to scope them and let me know I would
appreciate!

This past few weeks red-breasted nuthatches have been around, I had the
first record for Swainson's hawk and brewer's sparrow a few weeks ago, and
a pied billed grebe was seen there this past week as well.
