I didn't see the Long-tailed Jaeger this morning at Pueblo Reservoir when I looked for it for about a half an hour. The only terns still around were two Forster's Tern.
I spent most of my time this morning, birding below Pueblo Reservoir dam. Best birds were a Tennessee Warbler, Red-headed Woodpecker, two Townsend's Warblers, five Eastern Phoebes, Dusky Flycatcher, Green-tailed Towhee, Clay-colored Sparrow. On Wednesday and Thursday, I walked in the same areas. On Wednesday, the best birds were two Townsend's Warblers and Thursday, there was a Great Crested Flycatcher and an American Redstart. I think birding below Pueblo Reservoir yesterday, would have also been productive, though I was busy trying to study and figure out the jaeger at the lake most of the day.
