While birding today I bumped into Carl Starace who had found at least one and possibly two Tennessee Warblers with a flock of Wilson's Warblers. I photographed one of them. The Tennessee Warbler(s) were along the unpaved road to Evans 6 oil well just as the road descends adjacent to the cliff. They were in the first two trees. Both trees are medium sized. The flock of warblers were feeding vigorously. So they have a sustaining food source and may still be present for awhile.
There was also a Barn Owl roosting in a hole in the sandstone cliff just above a tree and opposite the owl ledge (old nest site).
