Six species of warblers were seen this morning in the bushes and trees around the Cottonwood Picnic Area parking lot eastward toward the Snakeskin Picnic Area parking lot, on the south side of the Arkansas River, below Pueblo Reservoir dam, Pueblo County.
The Prothonotary Warbler was the best bird seen by six birders from 730am to 1pm, also seen were a male Nashville (pumping the tail, so maybe Western sub species), Orange-crowned, MacGillivray's, Yellow, and Wilson's. Photos of the Prothonotary will be on flickr site soon. https://www.flickr.com/photos/brandonsbirdphotos/ Brandon Percival Pueblo West, CO -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
