While golfing today at Broken Tee, in Englewood, we spotted a Lewis's Woodpecker flying
Around and landing in dead cottonwoods. It was about 1/2 miles north of Oxford Rd, along The S. Platte River between Federal and Sante Fe. There is a creek path along there for the General public, which should get you very near where we saw it. To be specific, it was At the 8th hole teebox, on the west side of the river (northish part of the golf course). d Raymond Davis - at 6,000 ft. NW of Lyons (have not seen a Lewis's here for 2-3 years) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
