Cobirders, I too went to Washington county yesterday. Here are the highlights;
*Last Chance (1:30-2:30)* Philadelphia Vireo White-throated Sparrow Field Sparrow - had great comparison looks with a juv and adult White-crowned Sparrow *WCR 12 x JJ Playas (2:50-3:45)* American Golden Plover - 2 Black-bellied Plover - 1 10 additional shorebird species (in this Playa and the next two Playas within a mile east) American Pipits - 2 *NN between WCR 12 & SR 36 (4:00-4:45)* Sprague's Pipit - heard only when Northern Harrier flew by and flushed all the birds American Pipits - 3 McCown's Longspur - 10 Chestnut-collared Longspur - 1 Horned Larks - 500 3 Kettles of migrating Swainson's Hawks - 10, 8, 24 Happy birding, *Sue Riffe * *Lyons, CO* *P.S.
