A Red-necked Grebe was off West Fishing Road at Pueblo Reservoir, looking to
the south this morning.
A female plumage Purple Finch flew over me and landed in the a tree above the
restroom at the parking lot at West Fishing Road at Pueblo Reservoir, I got the
scope on it, and saw that it was a Purple Finch and not a Cassin's Finch, and
then it flew off to the east, maybe toward Northern Plains Campground.  Not
sure how find-able this bird is going to be, though check carefully any finches
you see that aren't House Finches.
The Reservoir was still pretty steamy in most parts.  There is probably more
rare things around.  I might try again in a little while.
