I spent a cold, snowy, and windy hour this morning at Red Rocks. I saw the Eastern Fox Sparrow, adult Golden-crowned Sparrow, a couple of Cassin's Finches, and a very cold Lesser Goldfinch. I was hoping to find the juvenile Golden-crowned but gave up when I couldn't feel my fingers. I last saw this bird on 11/5!! Has anyone seen him recently? I noticed the juvenile White-crowned Sparrows were a no-show also. Did they leave together?? Thanks to Tim Mitzen for reporting the Fox Sparrow. Photos of the Eastern Fox Sparrow can be seen below: http://jaeger29.smugmug.com/BIRDS/RARE-AND-UNCOMMON-2014/i-LtSQjNz
