I found 6 Rusty Blackbirds on the Denver Christmas Count near the intersection of Plum Creek and the Highline Canal yesterday and they were observed by 6 other members of my count. Photographs were taken. They were seen at about 9 am and again about 2:30p pm. They were on the west side of Plum Creek and north of the Highline Canal in a very small pond adjacent to the concrete spillway from the highline canal. Norm Erthal
