I birded in Boulder County today then headed east to Limon in order to be close
to the Flagler CBC tomorrow.

Of note were a pair of Pine Grosbeaks at a feeder in north Boulder at about
Dellwood and 5th, plus there were lots of Cassin's Finches throughout the
neighborhood.

In Allenspark, the Fawnbrook hosted it usual flock of rosy-finches; mainly
Gray-crowned with a few Brown-capped. Evening Grosbeaks and Red Crossbills
were also flying about.

On the way east (doing a bit of scouting for the Barr Lake CBC on Sunday), the
bridge over the S. Platte River was especially active with many shovelers and
Green-winged Teal, plus a generous helping of Killdeer, Wilson's Snipe and
American Pipits.
