When I went out to feed the birds this morning, the Blue Jays were
squawking.
So I looked around and saw a accipiter in a neighbors tree. When it made
itself
more visible I could tell that it was a Northern Goshawk maybe a female by
its size.

It was interesting that the small birds (juncos and chickadees) continued
to feed,
the E Collared Doves were no where to bee seen and the Blue Jays were
trying to
harass the goshawk.

Nice to start off the New Year with a new yard bird.
