A beautiful, White-throated Sparrow has been hanging out at some feeders
(8,700' elevation) in the Sunset Ridge Subdivision in Tabernash, Grand
County. It's been hanging out with juncos. If anyone would like to see
this bird (esp. for a Grand County list) the owners of the house are Bob &
Jan Hughes, and they are fine with visitors. Their address is 168 Sunset
Drive, and their email address is xchughes at comcast.net. They have some
nice photos. They also have a nice collection of high-altitude birds
(including Pine Grosbeaks, Red Crossbills, many Brown-capped and
Gray-crowned Rosy-Finches - although they haven't seen any Blacks in the
flock yet). - Joanie Kleypas
