Just a few minutes ago, I had the pleasure of watching an adult Golden
Eagle perching on a tall pole over a prairie dog field; and then soaring
across the field-- a disappointment for us both, it would seem (he failed
to catch anything, and he flew before I could try a digiscoped picture).
Still- always a treat.

The location was Roxborough Park Road, the unpaved section bewteen Titan
road and Sharptail Ridge open space.
