COBirders,

I saw a female Northern Cardinal at Sondermann Park at 11:35 am today.
Perhaps this is the same individual that was present for two days in early
December. Seen about 1/4 mile north of the cable-roadblock (which is
technically the north end of the park). The bird was in dense shrubs along
Mesa Creek near the "Wastewater" man hole cover.

I had a view of her for less than a minute before she disappeared into the
bushes. I did not see her again despite another 45 minutes of searching.

Three American Kestrels (apparently 2 males and 1 female) were calling,
displaying, and frequently copulating in the same area. Other bird activity
was generally good as well.
