Spent m "mental health day " in Weld Co-one Chestnut-collared Longspur at
85&114 north of Nunn and a Mountain Plover one mile east of 57 on 96 on south
side of the road. One Yellow-rumped warbler at Norma's grove. On Murphy's
pasture had McCown's Longspur,Sage Thrasher and Vesper Sparrows. Nothing at
Crow Valley but mating Flickers but water in stream bodes well for migration.
At Latham pond on sooth side of 48 had five Marbled Godwits ,one Longbilled
Dowitcher,3 Bairds Sandpipers and one Snipe . At Loloff had Avocets &
Black-necked Stilts plus Greater Yellowlegs and yellow-headed blackbirds. Sixty
species total on a really nice day! Good Birding. Bill Fink
