Hi all, First I'd like to thank the people who sent us information on the Gunnison Sage-grouse. My Dad and I had a great time at the Waunita lek: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S22875893
Now we are looking for Greater Sage-grouse and I saw the report of a large lek on April 12th at the Moffat County Road Department ponds in Craig. We would like to try to see these birds (from inside the car and far away) tomorrow. Could anyone give us tips on exactly where the lek is and where we should park before dawn? I see that the observers covered 40 miles that morning: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S22892990 I will post our sighting at the same eBird hotspot. Thank you very much again for your help with our chicken run!!
