Saw my FOS Swainson's Hawk yesterday in Longmont (4/19/15) sitting a n the
bee hive next to Airport Road, just south of Mountain View Ave., just east
of the Osprey platform on the Zweck's farm.

>From that vantage point, it is easy to spot the new Bald Eagle nest. Follow
the line of the railroad tracks (with your eyes) west and it stands out
like a sore thumb right now, pre-leaves. A spotting scope provides the best
view because it is way back from the road. It is private land and there is
no direct access to the nest. Watch it from Airport Road.
