Tom McConnell and I birded Delta county today and had a very enjoyable time.. As we headed out the Pinyon Jays invaded our feeders at home, and there was a Swainson's Hawk on roadside poles by Hwy82 near Carbondale at Catherine Store (Garfield) In Hotchkiss there was no sign of the Western Screech Owl.
