Hi All, Yesterday afternoon I had a probable Short-billed Dowitcher at Marston Reservoir (Denver County). The bird was feeding with a group of Long-billed Dowitchers in the pond visible from the grassy berm at the West End. The eBird checklist (including photos and analysis) can be found here: http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S23277415. Based on every source (not just eBird) that I've been able to find, this bird will represent the 1st Denver County record of SBDO if accepted. I haven't had a chance to check if the bird is still there today, but may do so soon. Also present yesterday (morning) at Marston were a Western Sandpiper and Sanderling, along with a recent influx of Spotted Sandpipers.
