It was nice to have the sun out! Lots of water - big puddles on the trail out to the river area, and the net down by the Water Board's fishing pond had to be removed because the lake has expanded. Spent lots of time clipping back branches that had bent over into net lanes. Still not catching a lot of birds - it was pretty cold early, then we had a little burst of activity, then quiet. Banded 9, plus caught 2 Yellow Warblers banded in previous years:
Dusky Flycatcher 2 (FOS) Orange-crowned Warbler 3 Yellow Warbler 2, 1 banded in 2012 and 1 in 2013 Yellow-breasted Chat 1 Green-tailed Towhee 1 Spotted Towhee 1 Mountain White-crowned Sparrow 1 We will be open every day, weather permitting, for the balance of May! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
