Taking kids to bus stop this morning I noticed a small dove on the ground down the road from my house. Fortunately, it was still there when I returned and was able to grab binoculars and camera and see it well. It flushed before I could get photo but I did see outer white corners next to dark corners of tail. Neck and back of head had limited scaling. Bird was where Lund Road and Mathews Lane meet or slightly down Lund Road on the pavement.
