I spent 4 days in Baca-Prowers-Bent-Kiowa counties (the southeast corner of 
Colorado) last weekend. Saw a lot of ravens, seems like more than previous 
years. Oddly, they all appeared to me (and my birding companions) to be Common 
Ravens. In past years, I have encountered more Chihuahuans in this area, and 
few Common Ravens. This year, I saw no likely candidates for Chihuahuan Raven 
during my 4 days in the region. Have other birders noticed this lack of 
Chihuahuan Ravens in southeast Colorado? Or an increase in Common Ravens? Could 
Common Ravens be displacing Chihuahuans in this area?
