RMBO side below the dam on May 20.
--2 Prothonotary Warblers were reported by Jay Hutchins at Rocky Mountain
Arsenal NWR on May 24.

ARAPAHOE COUNTY:
--A Least Flycatcher was reported by Cheryl Teuton in trees behind Swim
Beach at Cherry Creek SP on May 19.
--A m Chestnut-sided Warbler was reported by Lois Levinson at Cherry creek
Sp south of Lake Loop between bike path and lake on May 23.
--On May 24 at Cherry Creek SP, Glenn Walbek and Loch Kilpatrick reported
ALDER FLYCATCHER and Gray Flycatcher at Cottonwood Creek Wetlands.

ARCHULETA COUNTY:
--A Blackburnian Warlber was reported by Jim Beatty at Windsurf Beach in
Cottonwood at a Watchable Wildlife area across bridge and east of former
railroad bed on May 21.

BOULDER COUNTY:
--A m Magnolia Warbler was reported by Thomas Heinrich along Boulder Creek
below CU/Folsom Stadium on May 19.  On May 20, Curt Brown reported Magnolia
Warbler along Boulder Creek.
--Gray and Least Flycatchers were reported by Ted Floyd at Greenlee
Preserve in Lafayette on May 19.
--A Magnolia Warbler was reported by Kaempfer at Smith Park in Boulder on
May 20.  Smith Park is at Gilbert/5th and Aurora.
--On May 21, Ron Bolton reported Gray Flycatcher continues at Ryssby Church
in NE region.
--A Field Sparrow was reported by David Dowell on Skunk Canyon Trails in
Boulder on May 21.
--A Gray Flycatcher was reported by Hundertmark at Teller Farm and Lakes on
May 22.
--At Greenlee Preserve in Lafayette, Ted Floyd reported Least Flycatcher on
May 18 - 22, and Gray Flycatcher on May 19 - 20.
--A Least Flycatcher was reported by Ray Sperger on Left Hand Creek in
Longmont between Hoover and Sunset on NW side of creek on May 18.
--A Summer Tanager was reported by Scott Severs on White Rocks Trail in
Boulder on May 23.
--A Gray Flycatcher was reported by Peter Burke on CU East campus at
Confluence Ponds on May 24.
--An Eastern Phoebe was reported by David Blue at 75th St and Boulder Creek
on May 24.

DOUGLAS COUNTY:
--A Bell's Vireo was reported by Hugh Kingery on May 24 in the Franktown
Basin.

EL PASO COUNTY:
--An EASTERN WOOD-PEWEE was reported by Bill Maynard at Rice's Pond at
Fountain Creek Regional Park on May 19.
--A Baltimore Oriole was reported by Robb Hinds at Ramah Reservoir SWA on
May 23.
--A Least Flycatcher was reported by Gloria Nikolai at Pinello Ranch, Area
A on May 23.

EL PASO/PUEBLO COUNTIES (CB):
--On May 20, John Drummond reported Wood Thrush and MOURNING WARBLER near
banding station.  On May 24, David Tonnessen reported MOURNING WARBLER at
Chico Basin on the El Paso side.
--On May 18, Nancy Gobris banded a m Magnolia Warbler at Chico Basin Ranch.

DOUGLAS COUNTY:
--A Gray Flycatcher was reported by Scott Somershoe downstream of
Kingfisher Bridge in Chatfield SP on May 24.

FREMONT COUNTY:
--On May 21, Percival reported f Golden-winged Wabler near the Sells
parking lot of Canon City Riverwalk.
--On May 21, Percival reported 2 Eastern Phoebe and Broad-winged Hawk on
Canon City Riverwalk between Raynolds Ave and Sells Ave.
--A m Chestnut-sided Warbler was reported by Setta Moss at Pathfinder Park
on May 20.  Pathfinder Park is off Hwy 115 between Canon City and
Florence.  On May 21, Percival reported Chestnut-sided Warbler at
Pathfinder Park.

HUERFANO COUNTY:
--A Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Polly Neldner at Lathrop SP on May 21.
--A Great Crested Flycatcher was reported by Rick Taylor at Santa Clara
Creek on May 24.

JEFFERSON COUNTY:
--A Gray Flycatcher was reported by Scot Somershoe at Chatfield on May 16.
--On May 20, Mark Chavez reported that the Blue-winged Warbler continues at
Welchester Tree Grant Park.  On May 21, George Mayfield reported
Blue-winged Warbler and Matt Clark reported Blue-headed  Vireo at
Welchester Tree Grant Park.  On May 23, Dane Houser and Linda Broeren
reported Blue-winged Warbler at Welchester Tree Grant Park.  On May 23,
Mark Chavez reported 2 Least Flycatchers and Blue-headed Vireo at
Welchester Tree Grant Park.  On May 24, Gwen Moore and Betty Glass reported
Blue-winged Warbler at Welchester Tree Grant Park.
--On May 22, Lock Kilpatrick reported Yellow-throated Vireo upstream of
Kingfisher Bridge and Suddjian reported Yellow-throated Vireo at Deer Creek
at Chatfield SP.
--On May 23, Tom Behnfield reported Eastern Phoebe at Audubon Center at
Chatfield.
--On May 23, Meredith McBurney reported banding a Least Flycatcher at RMBO
Chatfield  Banding Station.

KIOWA COUNTY:
--On May 20 in Eads, Mlodinow reported Broad-winged Hawk and ALDER
FLYCATCHER.

LA PLATA COUNTY:
--A LUCY'S WARRBLER was refound by Susan Allerton on May 21 on the Animas
River Trail in Durango where it was seen about 2 weeks ago.
--A m Chestnut-sided Warbler was reported by Susan Allerton on May 24 on
the Animas River Trail in Durango between 29th St parking area and
footbridge behind high school.

LARIMER COUNTY:
--On May 19, David Wade reported Worm-eating Warbler and Gray Flycatcher at
McMurry Ponds NA.  McMurry Ponds is on Hemock St off of N College Ave. in
Fort Collins.  On May 19, Dave Leatherman found a m MOURNING WARBLER at
McMurry Ponds NA.  On May 20, many birders reported Worm-eating and
MOURNING Warblers at McMurry Ponds NA.  On May 21, Ken Pals reported that
the MOURNING WARBLER continues at McMurry NA.  On May 23, Ray Sperger
reported MOURNING WARBLER at McMurry NA.
--A Red-headed Woodpecker was reported by Bill Blackburn on a wooden fence
on S side of CR 38E near where Trowbridge Dr comes in below Horsetooth
Reservoir and W of S Taft Hill Road in Fort Collins on May 19.
--A Yellow-throated Vireo was reported by Sue Riffe at McMurry Ponds NA on
May 20.
--A Yellow-throated Vireo was reported by Sue Riffe at Poudre Ponds NA near
river edge between two parking areas on May 20.
--On May 20 at Boyd Lake SP, Nick Komar reported 3 imm Lesser Black-backed
Gulls and 1 ad Laughing Gull.
--At Prospect Ponds on May 21, Leatherman reported 2 Least Flycatchers.  On
May 24, Scott Manwaring reported Laughing Gull and 2 Lesser Black-backed
Gulls at Boyd Lake SP.
--A BREWSTER'S WARBLER was reported by Sean Walters in his yard on May 21.

Woods Open Space on May 22.
--A Red-headed Woodpecker was reported by John Shenot behind the brown
house near bend in Poudre Trail S of river at Butterfly Woods Open Space on
May 22.
--A Magnolia Warbler was reported by Ken Pals and Nick Komar at Lake Estes
on May 23.
--A pair of Broad-winged Hawks was reported by Rob Sparks at the junction
of Lee Martinez and Poudre Bike Trail on May 23.
--A Golden-winged Warbler was reported by John Shenot at Butterfly Woods on
May 23.
--A Great-crested Flycatcher was reported by Nick Komar at Lions Park on
May 23.
--A Winter Wren was reported by Jim Nelson in Moraine Park of Rocky
Mountain NP on May 23.
--A Chestnut-sided Warbler was reported by Fawn Simonds in Fort Collins
along the Poudre Rivers on May 24.
--An ARCTIC TERN was spotted by David Wade at Timnath Reservoir in the NE
Corner on May 24.

LAS ANIMAS COUNTY:
--3 Eastern Phoebe were reported by John Schukman in Trindad on May 21 at
bridge river crossings on Animas, Commercial, and Hwy 160.

LOGAN COUNTY:
--At Pioneer Park on W side of Sterling on May 20, Leatherman reported 10+
Least Flycatchers.
--At Sterling Cemetery on May 20, Leatherman reported m Baltimore Oriole
and 2 Least Flycatchers
--On CR 8 at Platte S of Merino on May 20, Leatherman reported 2 Eastern
Phoebe.

PHILLIPS COUNTY:
--A Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Mlodinow in Holyoke on May 23.
--An ALDER FLYCATCHER was reported by David Dowell at Lion's Club Fishin'
Hole in Holyoke on May 24.

PROWERS COUNTY:
--A Prothonotary Warbler was reported by Paeml Graber at Lamar Community
College Woods on May 23.

PUEBLO COUNTY:
--A Red-headed Woodpecker was reported by Brandon Percival at Pueblo City
Park on May 23.
--On May 24, at Valco Ponds SWA, Brandon Percival reported Bell's Vireo and
Painted Bunting.

SEDGWICK COUNTY:
--On May 24 at Sand Draw WA, Mlodinow reported ALDER FLYCATCHER and
Broad-winged Hawk.
--On May 24 at Ovid, Mlodinow reported ALDER FLYCATCHER and Broad-winged
Hawk.
--A Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Mlodinow at Lion's Park in Julesburg
on May 24.

WASHINGTON COUNTY:
--A Magnolia Warbler was reported by Erthal at Akron Golf Course on May 20.

WELD COUNTY:
--On May 20, Yellow-throated Vireo was reported by David Dowell and Norm
Erthal at Crow Valley.

YUMA COUNTY:
--2 ALDER FLYCATCHERS were reported by Mlodinow att Hale Ponds on May 21.
--A Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Mlodinow at Republica SWA e of Hale
on May 21.

The DFO Field Trip for Monday, May 25 will be to Mt Falcon Park led by
Karen Drozda (drozforte AT AOL.com; 303-388-0891).  Meet leader at upper
parking lot of west side of Mount Falcon Park at 0700.  From C-470 and US
285 SOuth, turn right at the Indian Hill exit to Parmalee Gulch Road.
Follow Parmalee Gulch Road for aproximately 2.6 miles to Picturis Road,
turn right at Picturis, then follow signs for Mt Falcon to upper parking
area.  Much of trip is in sun.  Bring hat, sunscreen, bug spray, lots of
water, hearty snacks, binoculars, Scope (Optional).  Great photo
opportunities.  Possible inclement weather.  Bring layers and rain gear.
