Coincidentally I birded areas in Ken Caryl Ranch on May 29-30 and counted
Ovenbirds, although my effort was not focused on that species, and I walked
trails or cross-country and did not sample point counts. I visited much
(but not all) of the suitable and reasonably accessible habitat in the
Massey Draw watershed. My total was 33 Ovenbirds, all singing. There were
some areas where I had Ovenbirds in 2014 that I did not visit on these
dates.

Also, on 5/29 a Magnolia Warbler and a Northern Waterthrush were at or near
Massey Draw beside my home. A Least Flycatcher there was away from the
species' usual haunts.
