Sorry to the moderator for my ignorance. Been trying to get this right for my first post to your group. I had a pair of Red Crossbills - both male and female - visit my feeders near C-470 & Hiway 285 just south of Morrison yesterday. I initially thought it was just another male house finch, but something caused me to pick up the binoculars and WOW! A Crossbill... and his mate! This was a first for me. A new add to my life - list, and right there at my feeder! Way cool!
