I had to go out of town this morning so did not have time to check on the
Dickcissels until this evening (and then I waited until it cooled down).
One Dickcissel flew in to the trees right on MacKenzie Ave for great views
but since it was getting too dark for good photos.  The Dickcissel that
tends to perch in the large juniper tree sang until 8:20 pm.  They have
mowed the hay field on the west side of MacKenzie but have not started on
the hay field in which the Dickcissels are located on the east side of
MacKenzie.
