CO birders :
Jeannie M , Lynne M and myself had excellent views early afternoon of the
male Anna's hummingbird coming to Paul Tennery's feeders near Valdez Las Animas
County . Thanks to Paul's gracious hospitality we had views of the Anna's
defending the feeders against Broad-tailed , Black -Chinned and a male Rufous
Hummingbird . I will post photos on the CFO facebook page shortly . My number
440 CO state species .
Note that it is important that you contact Paul ahead of any visit as the road
in is private and requires detailed instructions to get there . Your GPS will
not do the job !!
