Shorebird numbers have been improving weekly at Chatfield Reservoir as the
water level drops.
This morning the South Platte River delta downstream from Kingfisher Bridge (on
the Jefferson Co. side) held two Semipalmated Plovers plus Western, Least and
Baird's Sandpipers.
Meanwhile the marina sand spit (Douglas Co.) hosted two Sanderlings and 13
Marbled Godwits.
