The morning started pretty good, with a nice number of new Wilson's. Then
the wind kicked in about 8:30, and things tapered way off. Ended the day
with 46 new birds, the most interesting was a female American Redstart.
 Here's the breakdown:

Mourning Dove 1
House Wren 2
Hermit Thrush 1
Orange-crowned Warbler 1
Yellow Warbler 2
American Redstart 1
Wilson's Warbler 37
House Finch 1

We are open 6 days per week, weather permitting, through Sunday, October
11. Our next closed day is Wednesday, 9/23. We are opening nets at 6:30,
and will run until noon or whenever it gets too hot or too windy or too
whatever. School groups arrive about 9:30 a.m. most weekdays.
