There, at the top of a cottonwood in the SW corner of Hillsdale Park,
amongst a flock of Red-winged Blackbirds and Mourning Doves, was a
Budgerigar, chattering away.
Hillsdale Park is on the southern end of Berthoud, park at the eastern end
of Kansas St. After posing for pictures, he dived into the Russian Olives
that line the cattails. This was 8:15 am on Oct 7. I've since corrected
the date and time on my camera.
