This morning, I briefly observed a White-throated Sparrow at Denver Botanic Gardens. The bird emerged out of the "Birds & Bees Trail" before disappearing into the center of the Gardens. This was my first sighting of this bird at the Gardens.
Though by no means rare, I was surprised to see a Belted Kingfisher flying over the Gardens' several, small bodies of water. A Say's Phoebe was also around. Dark-eyed Junco & Townsend's Solitaire have been around for several weeks now. I'm still waiting for a Mountain Chickadee to join them. - Jared Del Rosso Denver, CO -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
