Arvind Panjabi, International Director for Bird Conservancy of the Rockies
(formerly known as RMBO), will present the DFO program on Chihuahuan Desert
grassland birds research on October 26. It’s no secret that grassland
bird populations have been declining more steeply than other birds for many
decades.. Since 2005, Bird Conservancy has been working to unravel the mystery
of where grassland birds go in winter and what they need to survive.Denver
Field Ornithologist meet at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science at 20th &
Colorado Blvd at 7:30 pm. Please arrive between 7 and 7:30 pm and enter
through the security door on the north side of the building. Meetings are FREE
and OPEN to the public. Mary C Burger, DFO Membership
