Yesterday evening and this morning, I observed a loon at Terry Lake that
appears to be a Pacific Loon. At times, the bird does show considerable
white on the flanks, which makes the ID more interesting, but I'm currently
attributing the white flanks to the bird rolling over slightly. Other
observations would be appreciated.

Terry Lake is a private lake near Longmont with only limited and distant
scope viewing. Clouds help viewing considerably.

Also, Bonaparte's Gulls have arrived in good numbers at both Terry and
McIntosh Lakes. We can hope they will invite some of their rare buddies to
the party.
