Birders,

The Least Bittern I reported on 11/21 is still present in the exact same spot as of 9:15 this morning. It is at the low spot on Bent County Road JJ between Roads 19 and 20. Look for three metal posts on each side of Road JJ, which marks the culvert. The bittern likes hanging around the downed tamarisk trees 15 feet north of the road by the illegible property boundary sign standing in water. Please remain in your vehicle so you don't flush the bird, and avoid audio playback.

By the way, there is no snow out here, and roads are dry.
