Cobirders,

I searched the NAS records of high counts for last year and came up with these
species and sub-species for which Colorado grabbed a national high. The two
boldfaced entries indicate an all-time CBC high.

White-tailed Ptarmigan CW (CO, Aspen)
Eur. Collared-Dove 6922 (CO, Pueblo)
W. Screech-Owl 99 (CO, Grand Junction)
Long-eared Owl 18 (CA, Carrizo Plain; CO, Crook; MT, Missoula)
Pinyon Jay 578 (CO, Salida)
Mountain Chickadee 530 (CO, Evergreen-Idaho Springs)
Pygmy Nuthatch 585 (CO, Evergreen-Idaho Springs)
Townsend's Solitaire 217 (CO, Penrose)
Dark-eyed (Gray-headed) Junco 335 (CO, Denver)
Dark-eyed (Pink-sided) Junco 348 (CO, Loveland)
Dark-eyed (White-winged) Junco 81 (CO, Evergreen-Idaho Springs)
Dark-eyed Cassiar Junco 28 (CO, Loveland)
Brown-capped Rosy-Finch 286 (CO, Rocky Mountain N.P.)
