There was a male varied thrush at Fountain Creek Regional Park around 11:00am
today. Bill Maynard and I got some photos, but not sure how mine came out. If
I have any good ones I will post on Facebook. I know Bill got one that was at
least identifiable. The bird was near the beaver dam on the north end of the
large pond (Rice's Pond?). It was associating with one male robin. It
continued to move east until it was out of sight. It seemed to like the olive
trees near the beaver dam, though, so I hope it returns for others to see.
