A beautiful Carolina Wren has been visiting a yard in Lakewood for over a month now. The homeowners (avid birders themselves) have agreed that they would like birders to have a chance to see this bird in their yard at 2695 Newland St. The bird is erratic, but today was seen for over an hour in the afternoon.
You may park on Newland, and come in the yard. There is a feeder behind the house on the west and a suet feeder on the south side of the house. Today the bird seemed especially interested in the peanut butter suet. Please be respectful of the bird and don't approach too closely. Happy New Year!
