N Goshawk flashed past window, landed in our crabapple tree, pursued by 15 magpies. Great new yard bird to start the year! Stuck around long enough for a few photos, then headed east towards Columbine Tree service property. Best option for anyone looking would be the playground behind Normandy Elementary to scan the open field and trees over the local 40 acres to the east.
