They weren't there yesterday when I was there around 1:30. I don't think they were seen at all yesterday. The reservoir is big (I'd recommend a scope), but it would be pretty obvious if they were there, especially since a good portion of the reservoir is frozen. There is a trail that skirts the south side of the reservoir, with parking near the southwest and southeast corners of the reservoir.
