Yesterday 1/11 afternoon, Cherry Creek SP:

Ross' goose: At the marina Geese flock to the water as night approaches.
This bird was in the near open water, at the marina, and viewed in the
midst of other geese if one looks at the water to the right (south) side of
the marina. Is this the same one I saw in the same place last year?

Bald eagles: After spending most of their day on the ice in the center
of the reservoir, or from various tree perches, the eagles convene, this
year as many before, in trees to the right (east) side of the road which is
a right turn from just past the East booth, and a short ways from the turn
into the RV campground They call to each other as they arrive.
Yesterday's number=5. That number may increase as April approaches..I have
seen as many as 17 there in the past. Best time 4:30-5PM, will get later
with later sunsets
